The Shanti Africa Group (SAG), founded in 2012, is the brainchild of its founding duo who, in defining the new company’s strategic direction decided, “empowering progress by providing for human and business needs” would give the company the focus, drive and relevance to propel it forward.

Inspired by Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, the Group launched Shanti Africa Security (SAS) in 2012 to provide for the need for security. This, plus developments in the micro and macro-economic environment, resulted in the progressive scaling of operations to include Shanti Africa Foods (SAF), Shanti Africa Technology (SAT) and Shanti Africa Construction (SAC).
